Business Problem

The client, a critical industry information provider, had an established product called EEQ (Enterprise EyeQ) that assists automotive companies in identifying target consumers and forecasting market and consumer-related parameters.

The client needed to modify EEQ’s existing modules, including User Management and Campaign Planning, by adding new functions. Additionally, they required the development of new modules and overall frontend enhancements to suit targeted systems and browser resolutions. Another key requirement was to create test harness data for non-existent brands to demonstrate the system to potential new automotive clients.

Business Analysis

PureSoftware conducted a thorough business requirement analysis to understand the specific needs of the client. The analysis identified the necessity for frontend modifications to improve the user interface and ensure compatibility with various systems and browser resolutions.

The client also required the development of new modules to enhance the product’s functionality and provide advanced analytics capabilities. Additionally, there was a need to generate test data for demonstration purposes to attract new clients in the automotive industry. This comprehensive analysis guided the development and modification process to meet the client’s objectives effectively.

Our Implementation

PureSoftware’s team made significant frontend changes using React JS to enhance the existing application and develop new modules as per the required features and theme of the product. New modules, including the Multi-Vehicle Offer module, Advanced Analytics module, and Private Offer Lookup module, were developed to extend the product’s capabilities.

The Dashboard SDK, a plugin previously developed by PureSoftware, was used at the backend to integrate with the Advanced Analytics module. This SDK’s frontend React JS component was integrated to build a campaign analytics visual page. EEQ was made UI responsive across various browsers and desktop resolutions to ensure it was system and browser agnostic.

To create a demo system for new clients, the team generated test data, stored it in the backend, and masked brand-specific data, making it possible to demonstrate the product effectively to potential automotive clients.

The Impact Delivered

The client was able to visualize, review, and analyze all statistical data efficiently.

A total of 57 charts were developed, which can be viewed on demand in a comprehensive dashboard.

The campaign planning dashboard was made downloadable in PDF format for client review purposes.

The solution provided a highly customizable, configurable, and dynamic dashboard that works seamlessly and error-free, despite managing a large set of data at the backend.
