Our client, a leading gaming company, wanted to develop a distributed electronic table system with a wide range of technologies, including C/C++/OpenGL/Qt/QML/CentOS-Linux, C#/VB .NET Windows Server, and SQL Server. Additionally, they wanted to enhance their existing test suite.
As a part of our analysis, we identified the need for strong competencies in embedded programming, windows programming, and the casino table games domain. It was essential to leverage both test engineering and domain knowledge to create a new test case regression suite that ensured comprehensive testing.
Our team of experts developed the necessary competencies in embedded programming, windows programming as well as the casino table games domain. By leveraging our test engineering and domain knowledge, we created a new test case regression suite, focusing on both breadth and depth-wise testing. The suite tracked test results and ensured traceability. Test cases were designed using techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis and Equivalence Partitioning. Approximately 400 (75%) new test cases were written to significantly enhance test coverage.
